I got banned 5 minutes ago for typing "wallhack set_1" into the chat It was a silly joke of mine, and nothing more. I've been playing on your server for the last two years, i quite enjoy it and i swear i do not have any wallhacks nor have ever been suspected of using one. The truth of it is you wrote " /wallhack mode set_1 " Which looks exactly like you failed at typing a command into the console due to console commands not being enabled in options. That fact will be reflected in the logs should we chose to go look them up. Our job as admin is usually to make sure the server continues to thrive, but occasionally we have to drive certain players off. After making your "error" you became an unacceptable risk to the regular full time player base and I will not allow such "errors" to drive them off. Other admins might disagree with me, but I personally see NO reason to lift your ban. You played a stupid game AND you won a stupid prize. Congratulations. You are free to purchase the game again at any time and rejoin our server. You will not be free to make the same "error" again. There is a whole list of them there, there is nothing what you call "we have to drive certain players off". I don't use wallhack as i don't have it, and even if i had it still you CANNOT activate any console command through the chat, BECAUSE it's the game chat. Poor, incompetent admin - poor admin's performance. Even your "You are free to purchase the game again at any time and rejoin our server" doesn't have any logical sense as instead of buying a game again "and rejoin our server" you could have just unban me with the same result. Arbitrariness, that's what it is. Don't wish you a nice day. |

Oh?... You think because we dont have "no hacking" stated in our list of 10 rules its somehow.... not against the rules? Bit of a failure in logic there. Have not heard of players being banned for hacking? Is this a new concept to you? You did write a pretty clear command " /wallhack mode set_1 " <<---- that is not a good look for you regardless of your argument. Beside that pretty good point as to why you were banned. You also stated that youve been playing here for about 2 years. Yet.... your information showed me and fellow admins that you've only played 56 or maybe 59 matches on our server. Our dynamic leveling system has only been active in its current interation for about that long. So you dont play here on OTaC much at all --- OR --- You've been banned before Maybe you've had to buy the game again already? Youre banned and youre staying banned.
